Preventing System Updates

Hi Beelink,

Thanks for your nice products, we appreciate them!
I have a quick question. We cook our own .img in which we integrate our own app (app needs to have elevated Privileges so it is a System App) thus we would not like the System to be updated and see our App and User Data be erased after Updates...
So we were wondering how we could ensure that no System Updates comes in our way.
Would you please be kind enough to tell us how we could be guaranteed that no System Update or any other Updates are received from our Beelink Ultimates ? Could that be achieved directly inside image we cook, removing certain apps or modifying a specific parameter?

You can mask OTA push updates by using the debug tool or the ES file manager to change the file version in the image.

Many Thanks for your reply and for the useful info!
We'll do modify build.prop accordingly following your advice for next shipments.

For previously shipped Samples, in our custom .img we had removed following apks :
FotaUpdate.apk
FotaUpdateReboot.apk
OTAUpdate.apk
Would it also prevent System Updates in some way?

We recently noticed an option in Developer Options named 'Automatic system updates'  (see pic).

We were wondering if that option was effective. So, could you please tell us if turning this option Off (and turning Developer Options back to Off for hiding) would have the same effect : totally preventing Updates?

Lastly, we shipped several Beelinks with SN : LPN1 and one with SN : B706D
Are you soon planning a massive System Update that would affect those models?
Would all devices be targeted and would it reset full system getting rid of our System apk?
If a System Update is already on the roadmap maybe you have a date you could share with us (is it a matter of wekk / month...)?

Sorry to disturb with all these questions but as you may understand this is a real concern for us.
