As Beelink didn't bother to address to customers, I tried a different approach that works much, much better, although not 100% stable.
It took me some time to find this solution and to figure it out which build fits better to our box.
Simply, this solution takes away Beelink's original Rom and uses the hardware only. It boots from the SD Card with Linux and Kodi v17.6 pre-installed - as they stated, "LibreElec - Just enough OS for KODI".
Not all alternative roms works fine with LPN1 versions. To help other hapless buyers here is what I find to be the best solution yet to give Beelink LPN1 box some usefulness:
Search for [8.2.2.3] LibreELEC 8.2 for S912 ("wrxtasy/kszaq" members), specially the particular version as stated here. The only reliable version for s912 cpu's LPN1 is this one:---> LibreELEC-S912.arm-8.2.5-Chroma.422.10bit.img
And this device tree:
---> gxm_q200_k3_pro.dtb
It only has Kodi installed but everything works, including the remote control (only the minimal keys). It crashes some time to time specially if playing with the menus (OpenGL issues...?). Otherwise, it rocks!!
To flash the sdcard for booting I use balenaEtcher as I'm a Mac user. It's very simple and straightforward (search for "Use balenaEtcher to install operating systems onto an SD card").
I hope it helps!
