Hello,

I upgraded the Beelink BT3 with Windows 10 Home to a Professional version, which works fine.

Last week the upgrade to Windows 10 Pro v1607 failed.
The good news is that the Beelink BT3 recovered the 1511 version.

Any experience or hints?

Regards,
Fatou

BT3 can be upgraded to windows 10 pro version, but there are two problems: 1, license might fail, because our system is windows 10 home version; 2, the drive difficult to match;

If the installation fails, reinstall the original system

Use the media creation tool to create a usb-stick that contains the 1607-upgrade.
Connect a second empty usb stick with at least 10gb.

You can now start the upgrading out of your running windows by clicking setup.exe on the first usb stick.
This procedure requires only about 6 gb of emtpy space on the hdd.

Turns out even if you can get this version of windows to install, your Wifi card will cease to work.  I've been trying to resolve the issue all night and can not find any solution.  Currently I am having to use the Ethernet port.  Very frustrating.

might be related to the general v1607 related problems with wifi but NOT to the pro version.
You can perform an inplace upgrade from home to pro.
Use the control panel to change the KEY to VK7JG-NPHTM-C97JM-9MPGT-3V66T.
After some actions (takes 10 minutes) and a reboot you will have a win 10 pro that need to be activated using a proper pro key.

After struggling to install Windows 10 Anniversary Edition (v1607), I was finally able to get it done last weekend.

It was just a problem of low hard disk space during installation.
I removed the second data partition D: (Does it make sense to have a separate partition for user data?).
Then I extended the C-drive (System partition) with Windows 10 disk management tool.

Now the feature upgrade to the Windows 10 Anniversary Edition (v1607) finished successfully.

For what it's worth, I have done the same thing without any issue. (1) Upgraded the key to Professional edition, then (2) applied the Anniversary Update. I must have had enough disk space since there was no problems on the first run. Looks like I was lucky.

I have not seen any issue with the Wifi yet.

Hi
After an upgrade like this, my doughter's PC stopped communications through WiFi.
I had to go to to network adapters -> select the adapter -> Configure -> Driver -> Roll back driver
And it worked.
Hope it helps.
