I bought GT1 ultimate just a week before. It was working fine. After that I had a wifi issue. I turn wifi on but it automatically turn off as I back to home screen.
I have the same issue.
Also, my router is a checkpoint firewall- Each time I try to do something that requires internet use, my network fails for a few minutes.
You can use the hard reset method and wipe the cache partition. However, you might want to wait until the OTA update to fix this WiFi issue has been corrected. Else the OTA update will download, try to install and fail and come up with message about your box is damaged and OTA updates disabled.
