Network cable connection vs Wifi - Problems

My GT1 Ultimate is connected by network cable and is permanently stopping and buffering, yesterday I changed the network connection to Wifi and stopped having these problems. even on HD channels. In the connection by Wifi I have a speed of 35 to 40 Mbs and cable network is always above 50 Mbs. Has anyone ever been through this reality and why is this happening.
