I am sorry , but this is not a professional reply I would expect from product support team.
I recently bought G1 ultimate tv box and experience the same problem.
This is not widely known, as I have not found.
This is a serious con at least for me ,and I will make that other people will also know about it
You cannot expect from customers always restart or unplug/plug the RJ45 ethernet cable.
Please let us all know how to fix it ASAP (is there a FW update ?) ,or this con will be widespread and will be part of every product comparison on the net
