Is it necessary to enable USB debugging to flash fw through the USB burning tool?
I can connect my GT1 through USB and it is detected after a few attempts.

When I try to flash 7.1 the process fails instantly.

Is it possible that the failure is due to my notebook computer supplying insuffient power through USB?

Would trying again with the power adaptor connecter make a difference?

No need to enable USB Debugging to flash.

What % does it fail at, and what is the error message USB Burning Tool showing?

Is your notebook old? Expecting to use USB version 2 or 3 ports.

It wouldn't hurt, try it with the power adapter.

I can't remember exactly what the error is but it fails at 0%

After the failed flash attempts the box boots normally as if nothing has happened.

Notebook is 5 years old and has both USB 2 and 3 ports. Fails on both.

it seems strange , you can try to change another PC first  since there may be a poor contact in USB port . :lol

There's not a lot to go on...

Make sure you using the correct firmware package.

Make sure that you've installed the USB Burning Tool properly, make sure that you've accepted the driver installation when It popped up on the screen.

Make sure that you carefully press and hold in the RESET button and plug the Beelink box to the PC and wait for the PC device detection charm sound before releasing the RESET button.

Try different USB cable, try different USB port, try different PC.

Got it to work with a better USB cable - finding a male to male in the local IT shops proved rather difficult so had to order one online.
