Hello friends,

I noticed that the dark screen phenomenon disappears whan i change the refresh rate to 50HZ (in settings --> display --> screen resolution).

But changing to 50Hz will affect the video quality.

Until now, my solution is to play a 10bit HEVC (h265 x265) video file in the native video player & this has solved the dark video problem for that session (ie. until restart the device).
I should check whether the latest firmware 110 has solved this dark video problem!

In Freaktab Forum, I have read some remedy for the dark video issue.

By integrating some 10bit HEVC (H.265 & X.265) files in the boot file (i.e. some ini file I think), we can resolve the issue.
(i.e. it will automatically play the file in the boot sequence itself,  so that we don't need to play 10bit HEVC file for each session).

Even though I have got those small 10bit HEVC files from FreakTab Forum, (I didn't done the editing process, since I don't know how to do it very well).

At the moment happy to play first these 10bit HEVC file for each session.

What u all need to do is to enable the boot video in \ System \ build.prop. No need to play video each session after that

complete noob question, this is my first android box or android device for that matter, but how do you edit system files? They seem in read mode only on my beelink gt1. I know there must be a way to overcome that, im just looking for the quickest/easiest one :D
I tried the included ES File Explorer and its included file editor.
