OK got through the first part without a problem.
Applying update for wifi 6255 Now.

Results:
Update flashes to completion
Restarts Please wait is taking a long time but completes
No wifi after update. won't work on s/n a912 :(

There's not even OTA for Android 7 on the other versions. S912 and G912 folks are the guinea pigs, A912 will see a stable release in a couple of months. ;P

Should I wipe data with install ? haven't tried that yet

Thx for the wifi fix , it worked for me (lost wifi after the wrong update with the 111M0 :)
