In the spirit of the Pure Nexus Project, my Stock Nexus ROMs prove that less can be more.  The goal is to keep true to Google's vision and use the bare minimum of OEM or third-party apps or add-ons, which can be added à la carte by the user as needed.  These ROMs will also serve as a foundation for my TVStock Nexus ROMs, which I'm building to deliver the pure Android TV experience using the Open GApps TVStock Package.

Changelog v1:
  • Beelink GT1_109M0 build stripped to Android stock bits and Open GApps
  • Google Now Launcher, Google App, Chrome browser, Google Play Store
  • File Manager v3.0.0 and Sound Recorder v6.0.1 from CyanogenMod/LineageOS
  • Terminal Emulator for Android v1.0.70 by Jack Palevich
  • SuperSU v2.79 by Chainfire
  • TWRP Recovery 3.0.2-2 by AbduL
  • Magenta button background fix for Settings.apk and TvSettings.apk
  • Stock Android boot animation

Known Bugs:
  • I haven't been able to remove MboxSettings without generating a bootloop.  This is redundant with SetupWizard, so it needs to go.
  • Doesn't yet include Amlogic codec brightness fix.

Download:
  • Latest version and Amlogic install tools available from FreakTab forum (TV Player Support > AMLogic based TV Players > S912 > Others AML S912 > Firmware - ROMs - Tools).  Post title is "[ROM] Beelink GT1 Stock Nexus ROM v1".

BTW, I figured out why uninstalling MboxSettings was generating a bootloop.  It turns out that Beelink customized ActivityManagerService in Services.jar, and it included a hardcoded reference to MBoxSettings that would crash if it wasn't present. Yikes!

I posted a major update to the Beelink GT1 Stock Nexus ROMs on FreakTab today.  It's now split into two variants: Nano for the minimal installation and Stock for the full stock Nexus experience. We'll also be adding a TVStock variant to deliver the pure Android TV experience once we get that Open GApps TVStock package fully running. This will be more like the Leanback experience you get with NVIDIA SHIELD TV and the new Xiaomi Mi Box.

BTW, these ROMs will work with the 9377 WiFi chipset (S/N beginning with S912 or G912).  However, I'm working on a .zip update for the AP6255 WiFi chipset (S/N beginning with A912) that you can install in TWRP, which should work with any variant.

When I get it fully operational, it should be pretty much identical to Android TV 6.0 on the Nexus Player (fugu).  You should be able to find plenty of YouTube videos on that already.
