Hi

Having just got my Beelink GT1 box yesterday I was dissapointed to say the least when I intially tried to use it and the problems invloved with the installed firmware 107 became apprarent. I took one look at this forum and nearly made up my mind that I had wasted £50 on this box.

Woke up this morning and thought I will give it one last try with a factory reset. As if by magic after a full reset I tried the OTA update tab and Beelink provided a flawless OTA to build GT1_109MO.

Having used it this morning, the box is flying now, even the remote works so much better and everything appears to be working much quicker and smoother and as i would expect.

Having chcked the forum I cant see any mention of this build..........am I getting it wrong or I have I just been lucky?

Build Number now shows as GT1_109MO

I found solution update 109!!!
Remove any USB or MICRO SD card.
Turn off the TVBOX and remove the electric from the TVBOX.
Under the device has a small hole. This is the Reset button.
You need to press that buttom and in the same time connect GT1 to the electric.
after 4-5 second release the button and you will enter to the Recovery.
1) press " Wipe Data Factory Reset" and then YES.
2) press "Wipe Cache" and the YES.
3) Reboot system.

It will clean the system .(everything will be deleted!!!!)
After yo connect to the WiFi go to Update.
press the update button and the system will tell you that you have update.
Download the update. when the download finish, press "update later" (its very important)
Go back to the update app and then press Update NOW.
It will update the sysyem to 109.
its work for me :-)
good luck
p.s.
sorry for my bad english.....

Everyone as always don't pick update now, pick update later.  Then close all apps by bottom navigation bar, the big white X, in the square icon.  Remove all usb dongles.  After all this then pick power off button and pick reboot.  Should work.

i made ota through ethernet, not wifi, without errors. No need to factoy reset and all settings remains unchanged. Can you boot your box? If yes try OTA without wifi...

Also, if anybody from Beelink is seeing this, would it be possible to correct the "Qodi" on the main Launcher page, and revert to the stock Android color in the Settings menu?
Considering also getting the Ultimate version, but I hope it doesn't have the same issues.
