Drivers released AFTER Intel ARC GPU version 31.0.101.5085 DO NOT WORK with this mini-PC. These drivers were released on Jan 2nd, 2024. Any Intel ARC GPU drivers released AFTER this date will obliterate this PC...your SEi12 will crash the minute the display powers off and become completely unresponsive, requiring a power cycle. ALL Intel ARC drivers released after Jan 2nd 2024 CAUSE THIS PROBLEM. I run the Latest Intel ARC drivers on OTHER Beelink Mini-PC's with NO problems. This is the ONLY device having this problem.

Symptoms:
As soon as the display sleeps, the system crashes. Power button must be held down or PC unplugged to get it back up and running again. This is easily reproduceable when installing ANY drivers newer than the 5085 version mentioned above. To fix this issue, you MUST roll back to 31.0.101.5085. I've had a case open with Intel and they believe it is a BIOS/Firmware problem on Beelink's end.

I've read that others seem to have a similar problem with this particular mini-PC. I own other Beelink Mini PC's and NEVER have issues running the latest GPU drivers on any of them.

Is Beelink aware of this issue? Is there a fix? Is there a new BIOS available?

My other model is a S12 Pro, N100 CPU w/16GB of RAM. I'm running the latest Intel ARC GPU drivers (31.0.101.5382) on that PC with no issues.

Hi  there,

We have tested the version 31.0.101 .5382, it doesn't have the problem.
Please see the attached.

Your test system appears different than mine.

On my SEi12 i5-1235U system, the GPU is Intel Iris Xe graphics. I cannot run Intel ARC Graphics drivers above 31.0.101.5085 without crashing after the display auto-powers off.

Apologies, I mis-reported the type of system I had. I will fix the title with the correct mini-PC info.

Can you verify whether or not you experience the issues I'm reporting on the SEi12 i5-1235U mini-PC w/Iris Xe Graphics?

I'm running Windows 11 23H2 on that system.

Just a note that the drivers install just fine, and your system will *appear* to run properly after reboot. However, once your display automatically goes to sleep (not the PC, just the display), the crash occurs requiring a power cycle to get the system back up and running.

Hi there,

With the version 22H2, the PC can wake up from sleep.

The problem isn't related to wake from sleep...the mini-PC is set to never sleep, but the display is set to power off after 30 minutes. Once the display powers off, the PC becomes unresponsive on the latest Intel ARC drivers.

I set the display power off after one minute, the PC work fine .
So I think the problem is the version of windows.
How about you downgrade it to version 22H2?
