Voice Control does not work from remote control

Hi all,
I am with GS King-X with 916P0 firmware. When I first used my GS King X with previous firmware the voice control used to work flawlessly: the spoken words used to appear on the top of the screen, while keeping the Voice control button pressed on the remote.

Now, with the new firmware, when I press the voice button on the remote, nothing happens: Google assistant sets as ready to listen, but everything goes as if Google cound not get any audio input.

The remote batteries are new and the remote led is blinking as I speak while keeping the Voice control button pressed.

Any help please?

Uninstall Google Update. GT is the same problem for King Pro. I've written this issue no one else has answered.

I though I had I this problem. You must keep the button held down as you speak and then let go. This worked for me.
