hI @darkstar,

I tried out the Khadas-Vim3 https://dl.khadas.com/Firmware/V ... .0.9-211217.img.xz. and upgrade it to v1.0.10.

The new Khadas-Vim3-Gnome-5.16-rc2 v1.0.9 or v1.0.10 is stable and boot up every time.

Not like the older Khadas-Vim3-Gnome-Focal-5.12.0 image where it is not so stable and also does NOT boot up occassionally.
Edit: Forgot to mention the most impartant part, the above image(s) will NOT boot without the chainloader u-boot.ext and @darkstar modified boot.ini, boot.scr, s905_autoscript, s905_autoscript.cmd.

hI @darkstar,

I tried out the Khadas-Vim3 https://dl.khadas.com/Firmware/VIM3/Ubuntu/SD_USB/VIM3_Ub ...

I don't understand why khadas builds and shares firmwares with RC kernels.
For testing reasons you can build but personally I don't prefer to share such builds.

What do you mean by access to boot.

If you are asking about how to boot on Linux over usb port.
Download this image flash it to an usb drive an insert this usb to otg port.
On android os interface press the power and keep pressed until power menu appers.
On Power menu select switch to os last option at the bottom, then device will reboot and Ubuntu will shine.

If you are asking anything different you must ask specifically.

Yesterday I booted this firmware without u-boot.ext from usb drive, but somehow it did not boot from SD card.
I will update this firmware later.
