You can choose not to flash to emmc then.
About "Beelink officially supports only their own build An ...

I'm sorry I did not mean anything offending, just shared my opinions.
I saw many people on different forums bricked their devices when flashing unofficial U-Boot builds.
GT King or GT King Pro devices has different versions, Beelink itself releases different Ota versions for different serials...

If you tried your build on all device versions yes you can be right, it may be safe.
Thank you again for your build, but I prefer  not to flash my devices emmc.

I'm a fan of opensource for a decade, you can do what ever you want with it and everyone can share their opinions.

By the way those are your words from first post.
I need to be clear that we are still far from a stable release and much can be changed or altered and with your help we can squash all the bugs before we reach the code freeze state.
Regards,

Beelink android firmware is being builded using the amlogic sdk.
Both Beelink GT-King and GT-King Pro have mainline uboot support so using the right configuration booting up is quarantine to work. So this is not an unofficial uboot version by any means. Actually you cant go more official than this :)
About my words, you misunderstood them completely. We have stable build releases  every now and then when the most bugs are squashed and we just released one so what i was trying to say is that the image is stable but we will work our way up to find more bugs to fix until the next release thats why we are far from a stable release NOT that the image is unstable what so ever.

I think the problem is that CE is not compatible with u-boot as it is stated here:
The start system in Coreelec is not compatible with LibreELEC Armbian etc. If you run coreelec on your TV box, you will no longer be able to run LE and Armbian normally until the full recovery of the standard firmware via the USB Burn Tool and the new activation of the universal multi-boot, which is used in all new systems.

I tried this method before and I was able to run Manjaro on GT1 Ultimate after CoreELEC . I have some important data on my GT-King, so right not I'm not able to re-flash it with USB util, but it would be nice if someone could try to reinstall the original ROM with  USB utility and try to boot  this image from an SD card...

The chainloader is available on Manjaro-Arm-Vim3 image and also on @darkstar Ubuntu-Impish-5.14.15-darkstar as u-boot.ext.

A good article on chainloader for amlogic is available on https://forum.armbian.com/topic/ ... images-for-amlogic/
I have only used the chainloader from Manjaro-Arm and from @darkstar image.  Additional info https://forum.manjaro.org/t/manjaro-arm-on-amlogic-tv-box/34662/1

Great to Know that you are making this for GT King. IS this for DDR4 or LPDR4? I have GTK B222 and love to try this.
