Thanks thats fine, have used CE dual boot with android on emmc for a good while now but its a pain having to redo the whole android side when any firmware updates are available. An ota dual boot f/w would just save the end used from having to go through this to update android.

there is no dual boot, best way is to run android from emmc and coreelec or other linux distro from sd/usb.

Not sure what you mean by this but there is no ota update for android so no dual-boot can fix that issue.

If beelink can find a way to make ota update than that would be a solution to what you're expecting.

Was just asking about a dual boot f/w, if you have both CE and android installed on emmc (the best option imo) to update android to the latest f/w requires a fresh install wiping both android and CE. The reset
button will eventually fail to work if I keep reflashing this device.

No cannot have both os on emmc.

You can have android on emmc and use CoreElec from sd card.

Since have owned this box from new I have had both os' running on emmc using ceemmc tool, CE is far more stable this way.
I understand now that a dual boot f/w will not be possible with Beelink so I will not need to update android again on this box, thanks for the replies.
