try coreElec, but then download GTKING PRO 922H 910P0 firmware:
http://forum.bee-link.com/forum. ... &extra=page%3D1

I insert SD Card, system boot in Android, ask about BT mode of remote control, then said, that "update complete" and there is version 919P0 on device without any interaction from me, I shutdown all, remove SD card and boot in Android, version 919P0

Hi, in the first post of this thread (2021-05-25 16:02:55) there is

"....We are very sorry for this incident. Before the firmware was released, we tested that the firmware was normal and released the OTA update. However, we did not anticipate the occurrence of this problem. Now we have found the problem and will solve it immediately.

The following statement is for the machine corresponding to the following Serial number

GTKING: B922 and 922X
GTKINGPRO: 922H

At present, we have found the problem of OTA update, there are a few important points to notify

1. Now users who have successfully refreshed to the latest firmware via USB or SD card, please note that your next firmware update needs to be completed by burning the firmware via USB or SD card instead of OTA, otherwise the black screen will appear next time.

Or you can re-flash the normal 919P0 firmware so that you can update it via OTA in the future
We will release the normal 919P0 firmware before next week...."

Has the normal 919P0 firmware version been released? If not, when is it scheduled?

Thanks

Stefano

Unbelievable. Complete garbage. How is it possible to leave an update available for download that bricks a device? Now I'm like a circus act jumping through hoops to try and fix this paper weight.

Trying to revert to older firmware via sd card on B922 doesn't work. Says it cant install an older version over the bunk update. So I guess ordering a male to male usb (which nobody on the planet has laying around) is the only other option to try.
