Hi @JFL
I will try cause I don't have backup, the version for gt-king _pro is "s922x_" without "n2".. (n2 is for Odroid N2)
There were several versions in the releases (Focal, Bullseye, Buster, ..) yesterday, but today I no longer see the "buster" version, I will try the Bullseye install and test the new version of Yunohost (available under Bullseye )

Hi @gtkingpro.ac2n,

Look forward to your input/feedback, especially whether it uses the chainloader (u-boot.ext).  Because with the chainloader per what I read is that it will not be able to boot from emmc and also have the issue of booting from USB Flash unless it using the GT King Pro USB OTG, etc. Whether it uses FAT32 for the /boot partition?

Hopefully it is stable. With your usage as a server operating 24/7, it will be a good test for stability. Yes, I saw the "Buster" images earlier too.

@JFL
So I flashed the last bullseye release on sd card I can confirm the presence of the /boot partion in FAT32.
I made the change for uboot.ext as shown in the readme.md present in the / boot partition and I also changed the dtb reference in uEnv.txt to meson-g12b-gtking-pro-rev_a.dtb (gtking-pro.dtb give a black screen for me) and it starts without problem ..
I will continue my installation..
Following the next episode..

Hi @gtkingpro.ac2n,

Thanks for the info.  So it is not following strictly the official armbian build where there is NO FAT32 partition.  I also have a Rev A unit.

I made the change for uboot.ext as shown in the readme.md

Where is the info?  Can't find the info on the main readme.md. Am I reading on t he wrong page?
Is this a server image without desktop environment?

The installation of yunohost on top of this armbian bulleyes is correctly done, it's an alpha version of yunohost but I'm trying anyway ..
CPU can have maximum value at 1,9GHz ? It's configurable via armbian-config in this version but I'm not sure if I can use it..

Edit : Oops first problem freeze, i will contact on github for using the good dtb...  https://github.com/ophub/amlogic-s9xxx-armbian/issues/52

The readme.md file is on the /boot partition when you have flashed *.img..
And it's a server image without desktop..

Hi,
Is Armbian for 922X stable on your GT King Pro Rev A?  How did you resolve the system freeze?

Hi @JFL,
Is armbian for a lot of amlogic S922X sbc, my freeze problem occurred when I was using the wrong .dtb, after having contacted on Github, for the gt-king_pro you have to use gt-king_pro.dtb and not the "-rev_a" which is made for Odroid N2 apparently ..
I have another problem, sometimes the startup freezes too, I'm discussing it => https://github.com/ophub/amlogic-s9xxx-armbian/issues/52
I continue my tests..

Hi @gtkingpro.ac2n,

Thanks. I am following your progress with interest.  Should Balbes150 Armbian-Bullseye image fail or I acquire a new USB/SD will give this image a try.  Are you using u-boot-odroid-n2.bin as u-boot.ext as suggested in https://github.com/ophub/amlogic-s9xxx-armbian/tree/main/build-armbian/amlogic-u-boot?
Not very good on linux commands so will be a bit handicap on a server base image.  If ethernet and wifi are available, shoul be able to install a DE (Gnome or XFCE).  The difficult part is how to install a minimal DE not a bloated DE.  For example, the Manjaro-Arm-Gnome Team did a fantastic job where Manjaro-Arm-Gnome use minimal RAM resources (around 450 MB) which is in the same range or lower than Armbian XFCE DE on startup.  Most Gnome DE image that I have seen uses 700-900 MB of RAM.
