I'm not a official Debian developer like you and Manjaro , I don't have too much free time  ...

@darkstar

Just wondering whether you have a build with Panfrost enabled with mesa-20.3.4.1 or the latest mesa-git?  With mesa-20.3.4-1 or latest mesa-git, Panfrost is working quite smoothly on Manjaro-ARM.

Hi darkstar,

I am new to linux and do not have the skill set yet to build linux package/image yet.  Do I just open up the Terminal and issue the command line instruction?  Sorry for the greenhorn question.

Debian and Ubuntu don't update pkgs like Manjaro does as rolling release. To get latest mesa on debian or ubuntu user have to compile it himself or wait for the distro to ship it with the newest release. While manajro being a rolling release keeps updating all the packages as the upstream pkg developer pushes any new update.  That is the reason we will have to wait for ubuntu debian to get the latest mesa pkg.

@spikerguy & @darkstar,

Thanks for the information.  Out of curiosity, I notice in Armbian Bullseye-5.10.12 with mesa-20.3.4-1, somehow according to glxinfo there no Acceleration.

display: :0  screen: 0
direct rendering: Yes
Extended renderer info (GLX_MESA_query_renderer):
    Vendor: Mesa/X.org (0xffffffff)
    Device: llvmpipe (LLVM 11.0.1, 128 bits) (0xffffffff)
    Version: 20.3.4
    Accelerated: no

Is there any other settings need to be set to have GPU acceleration?
