Hello Beelink Team,

I have been using and testing the GTR and I am loving it.
Only issue I have is that the fan is on most of the time even when the temperature is around 50 - 55 °C

I want to make the fan only run at higher temperature instead of running at such low temperature.  Usually it should run at level 1 once it crosses 60°C, Level 2 after 70°C and level 3 after 80°C

Is there anyway to make it like this ? I have searched in BIOS Setting but I cannot find anything about fan setting.

Please advice.

Thank You.

Hello,
The speed of the fan is usually adjusted automatically according to the temperature. If you think the fan sound is too loud, please check your BIOS version. If it is the latest version v006, then you can shoot a video of the fan being too loud and send it to our after-sales staff to check whether Fan failure

I second that - I really need to make fan spin at constant (might be high) speed if i decide so. It would be enough to have documentation how to force it using low level system calls.

What you should do is update the BIOS with an option to regulate at what temperature we want the fans to jump, etc., we do not ask for anything that a computer has not had for 20 years. Let's see if you wake up and add this basic function, because it is a horror to hear how the fan goes up and down all the time making noise when it reaches 20%, unfortunate.

You can update your BIOS to the latest version V008, the new version optimizes fan speed.

Better to have a loud fan at times then a hot cpu which has a thermal failure and a broken computer
