Now my GT-King is a double boot device (CoreElec and Android).

I'm using an universal and programable IR remote to contol the GT-King (and TV, audio system...). Not just to power on and off: I have the 4 direction arrows, plus OK, menu, back, home, volume keys...

IR remote works perfectly when I'm using Android, but does nothing at all when using CoreElec.

It supposed that is possible to configure CoreElec to works with an IR remote, but I don't find how to do that with GT-King IR remote.

Somebody may help me? Thanks a lot.

I did it!  I'd found a really helping tutorial and now my IR remote is full operative in both CoreElec and Android. I'd take a Beelink GT1 Ultimate remote as a model.  You'll fond the tutorial here: https://discourse.coreelec.org/uploads/default/original/1X/00c45cd5a77202251eb427fd3299d7a43df8b68a.pdf  Good luck!

CoreELEC 9.2.2 newly added support for the Beelink IR remote. This requires adapting the code value of the IR remote control in CoreELEC. You can contact the manufacturer of the remote control to inquire the code value of the remote control and let CoreELEC add the remote control code value

IR remote for a CoreElected GT King

Hi,

I am looking for a remote controller that I can use with Veraplus to trigger its scenes. I already tried using 45631 and 45600 but no luck after spending days to get them to work. They don't work directly with the WD500Z dimmers. May I know which one would be the best option which runs without any issues and actually works?

Thanks

Thanks, checking that out.
I updated CoreElec  to Matrix not using automatic updates because it wouldn't take the new version of Seren without it. I chose the 19 version and the stock remote stopped working.
There is also RC(1) and RC(2) and alpha version of 20.
