Hi

I purchased a Beelink BT3-X and received it 2 days ago.

It seems to work well, except of one thing:
It will not connect to the WLAN.

All other devices that I have in my house (PCs, Android phones, Android Tablets) work well with my WLAN,
just the Beelink BT3-X doesn't.

It is critical for me to have it connect to Wifi,
since it will be located in a place where there's no Ethernet socket.
(and I cannot pull a cable over there..)

Is there anything that can be done to make me succeed connect to the wireless network,
or this unit will not change this behavior?

Thank you

How about the wireless version? I think the BT3-X is wireless b/g/n/ac 2.4/5.8 ghz. Any possibility of some type of incompatibility or confusion along those lines between the unit and your wireless router? Do you have a wireless dongle you could try instead of the unit's internal wireless and see if it works? Is it possible that it is too distant from the router to successfully connect (you can see your SSID but can't connect)? Try a driver update? WPA Security type and encryption type the same in wireless properties on the Beelink and the router? Network conflict between some other wireless client and the Beelink? Do you have DHCP in your router so it automatically assigns a new network address to any new client? Just throwing out everything I can think of!

Can you search for WIFI hotspots when you open WIFI? If you can't open WIFI, you may have lost the WIFI driver.

Hi

I can turn on the Wifi,
and I can see all the WLAN networks in my area, including mine.

But it will simply not connect to it,
after I try, it writes all the time "Can't connect to network".

All other devices hin my house (Windows, and Android) do successfully connect to my network..
Just the Beelink BT3-X doesn't..

Hi--Thought I'd throw these in there in case it might help...When I can't connect I check a couple of things first:

If your router has MAC address rules, make sure it has allowed your BT3-X's wireless NIC's MAC address into its system, i.e., make sure its MAC is input into router to allow it to connect.

Check to make sure the wireless (I assume it's WPA) key is accurately input into the BT3-X's wireless so it matches the router.

Hi Bob

Thank you very much.

My router has no MAC filtering, the computer/device just needs to know the Password.

Regarding the password, yes, I checked it and rewrote it several times,
yet it was not the problem..
I don't know what to do..

Hi

I can turn on the Wifi,

If you can search the WIFI list and prove that your WIFI driver is no problem, but can't connect, please try to log in to the router background management system and adjust the router channel. If it still can't connect, please try to reset the router and connect.

BobSmith8768:
thank you for your ideas.

I clicked "Support" on your last post from yesterday, I thought this means "Thanks",
but it made your post disappear..
How can I bring it back?

In any case,
regarding your ideas,
I will get a USB Wifi Adapter in the beginning of this week and then try.
I believe it will work,
but then it means I am losing 1 out of 4 USB Sockets that I have in my mini-PC..

beelink:
>If you can search the WIFI list
Yes, I can completely see all networks, inc. mine.
The Wifi module works, but just does nto connect.

>but can't connect, please try to log in to the router background management system and adjust the router channel.
Yeah I tried that too.

Maybe on the mini-PC there are RF Calibration parameters that I can play with to maybe make it work?
Anything like that exists?
Can you please ask one of the engineers who are responsible for the Wifi communication in the mini-PCs?

Oh, I found what happened regarding Bob's post.

Clicking "Support" made the post move up, to be second, right after my first post here in this thread.

Clicking "Support" again, did not disable this, it's impossible to undo it..
So this changed the order of the messages here.
Quite unpleasant, but wel, this mistake will not be repeated.

thank you for your ideas.
