Suddenly, it doesn't start up. I press the start button, but nothing happens.
If I unplug it, and I plug in again, the start button blink, but doesn't start when I press it.

What operation did you have before that caused it to not work properly? Still no operation, automatically become like this? Can I boot? Does the display show no signal or black screen? Please provide us with more information so that we can better judge the problem.

Thank you!

I encountered the exact same problem. i disconnected from power/lan/usb/hdmi, when i went to reconnect, there was no start up at all. only the power light flashes 2/3 times.

Would appreciate some feedback.

Me I have similar problem from yesterday:

First I had problem to boot (I use Ubuntu) so I entered to bios toverify the boot order. Unfortunately  i've found an option, I do not remember what exactely, but the choise was Windows (selected) or linux - so I opted for linux, unfortunately after reboot the X55 is kind of bricked - I hvae noting in displqy (tried 2 hdmi, no signal).

The machine is not completely dead, pushint to button stop it (at least put the led OFF)  and pushing again start it (led switch to on). Any idea where to start to have hdmi back? It is realy a good machine when working, wouldn'r loose it...

Thanks, vlad.

Just unscrew 4 screws at the bottom and remove the bottom lid.
You'll get an access to the motherboard. There is a battery plugged to the board by wire.
Unplug battery block from motherboard, It's easy.
Then start you X55 again. The CMOS will be reset back to default and you'll be able to run your X55.
Turn it off again and plug the battery back to the motherboard.
That's everything.

I did the same, I set Linux in the bios and the machine won’t start anymore. I resolved resetting the BIOS. The BIOS can be reset removing the battery and shorting the metal pin on the board for about 30 seconds.

Hello, it's the same thing it worked 5 days, then I found it turned off and for more; the blue lamp does not even light up. Is your working again? was it under warranty?
