GT1 Mini Clock/Location Fix-Update Yet?

So, as I understand it, there is still no fix to the location (mid April 2019) and temperature widget on the main screen working for my GT-1 Mini? A few folks have "rooted" or "broken into" the box settings for the fix.... but there is no manufacturer fix yet?
Suggestions or Info on a fix?

Please update to the latest firmware and manually enter the address to resolve the problem that cannot be located.

My current firmware version is 115N0, and showing no new updates available. What else should I look for?

Still not able to update the location data on home screen

I have a direct ethernet connection and wireless is turned on also...
