Requesting Access to External Drives

Hi,
I have problems with most apps not being able to write to external drives. For example, in ZetaTorrent app (from google play store) when I try to grant permission it returns an error message: "ZetaTorrent: Documents Provider Not Found !!". All the apps can not write to the external drive and can not be Granted Permission.
The only app that can write to the external drive is the Beelink provided Bee Files Explorer.
This is a big problem that I have never encountered on my other android tv boxes.
I ask for a quick and permanent solution for this problem
