I am using the SII with the N4100, 4Gb of ram, and 64 Gb of eMMC storage. I made the mistake of trying to use an M.2 drive that uses NVMe and found out that it is not supported "at this time". So I am sending that back and have ordered a SATA 2.5" drive. It should be a lot easier to install than the M.2 was. The Crucial SSD says it comes with Acronis to clone the drive. I'm hoping that I can get the BIOS to recognize it as the boot drive. I'll find out tomorrow. Stay tuned.
Update:
I was able to get Acronis to clone my SSD and that only took about 10-15 minutes after reading their online guides. But it didn't show up in my File Manager until I assigned a drive letter to it using "Disk Management" . Since the internal 64Gb drive was already C:, I assigned it letter D: and it appeared in the File Manager. But it still didn't boot to the SSD until I went into the BIOS and switched the boot order. It booted on the SSD as drive C: and now the internal drive is D:.
