Looking a buying alot of these, can these dual boot? ie: Linux & *BSD

Can they boot directly from msata drive?

Can they boot directly from 2.5" HDD?

What is your BIOS/driver update policy?

What would be the EOL date?

I've installed latest ubuntu server without any issues to internal ssd.

I installed Linuxmint 19 on the 64 GB Emmc and Windows 10 Home on a 512 GB SSD and it all works well but I needed the drivers for Windows to get sound and a couple of "unknown device" drivers installed properly. The drivers are available from a web site mentioned in another thread. I'll have a look to see if I can find it and then include it in this port or in another.

Linuxmint 19 installed without any trouble but the HDMI sound needed to be turned on using the sound mixer because the default sound was set to the headphone jack.

By the way, I installed windows on the 512 GB SSD first and then Linuxmint 19 on the Emmc, that way grub2 was the boot manager. That seems to be the best way to arrange things because the windows boot manager can be picky about other operating systems - at least that is what I was told.

I think that the administrator is the only one who can post external web links. I tried but the post didn't appear in the forum. Sorry. I think it is probably for security reasons and that is likely a wise decision.

By the way, the Beelink S II seems to be a very good Mini PC for the price. I hope you get good use and good value from it.

I try to boot on Debian non-free-dvd-1 written on usb drive but it doesn't boot...
