In order to use the AP34 (and also the AP42 ) as always-on servers, I would need them to reboot automatically after an AC power loss once the power is restored.
Normally, you would find an option for that (Reboot on AC Power loss) in the BIOS, but the current BIOS does not contain such an option at all.
Could you please add this in further BIOS releases?

This is very helpful option in any case, not server only but media torrent client as well.
Please add Restore on AC Power Loss option into BIOS if it's possible.

Hello,

I also ordered a AP34 a few days ago! I want to use it as a "smart" part behind the TV! It shoudl turn on when I turn on power distributor! This is a the similar problem and so I didn't want to start a new topic.
Did somebody find a solution or work-around since the BIOS option is not aviable!

Regards
PerHons

Bad luck: I did the same mistake. AP34 UEFI Bios is very poor, like for all other N3450 systems it looks like. An improvement would be greatly appreciated !

I also need the ability to boot on power on (by-passsing power on switch).
Is there any progress on this?

We have added Auto Power On for the AP34, but need to upgrade the BIOS, please provide the S/N cod ...

This sounds great. Just to confirm - are you saying there is now a BIOS update to allow auto power up after power resume? Who should I send the S/N to?

I have requested BIOS update by sending my S/N to beelinkservice@bee-link.com referring to post #8 of this forum thread.
They replied:
Thank you for your letter.
very sorry.
The AP34 currently only supports the Wake-on-LAN feature.

And they didn't provide any BIOS update. My AP34 currently does not support neither "auto power on" nor "wake on lan" :-(
